Originally from Ledyard, Connecticut. Aaron attended the Pine Point School in Stonnington CT., The Williams School in New London CT., and majored in illustration/animation at The Rhode Island School of Design, graduating in 1996.

In 1997, after working for a year at MSNBC in New York, he relocated to San Francisco and joined  the art department at George Lucas' Industrial Light and Magic .

At ILM Aaron has had the opportunity to design characters and environments for such films as A.I. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, MINORITY REPORT, HULK, PETER PAN, and MEN IN BLACK 2. 

More recently he served as Visual Effects Art Director  for  STAR WARS EPISODE 3: REVENGE of the SITH, and the PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN Trilogy. The second installment of which, DEAD MAN'S CHEST, won an Academy Award for best visual effects in 2006.

Aaron has been fortunate enough to work for such filmmakers as, George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, Jerry Bruckheimer, Gore Verbinski, Jon Favreau, John Knoll, Scott Farrar and Dennis Muren

Some of his design illustrations can be seen in books such as:
"The Art of Star Wars Revenge of the Sith", 
"The Making of Revenge of the Sith"
"The Art of Pirates of the Caribbean",
and "Pirates of the Caribbean: From the Magic Kingdom to the Movies"

In 2004 he wrote and illustrated the graphic novel "Old Wounds" for Lucasfilm publishing and DarkHorse Comics and had some paintings on exhibit at the Society of Illustrators museum in New York city.

In addition Aaron’s work has been profiled on EXTRA , CNBC’s THE BIG IDEA WITH DONNIE DEUTSCH, MTV, and in The NEW YORK TIMES.

Aaron has recently finished  work on the Paramount Pictures release IRON MAN and is currently  designing for the upcoming 6th installment of Warner Bros.'  Harry Potter Franchise: HARRY POTTER and the HALF BLOOD PRINCE.
